    No you can't
Been little busy past few days. Every time I restarted the laptop got hard drive is about to fail - back up data.

Had to look at my options.

    1. Get the old Acer laptop out and get it up and running. To my surprise I installed windows 10 on it. Brought it up to date so in an emergency I'll have something. It only has 2 K of ram in it. Done!

    2. get a new laptop. Don't like what is available for the price so this option is a NO!.

    3. Get a new hard drive and install it myself. For $32.00 on Amazon I choose this option. Placed order today be here around the 23rd. Hopefully this will make it all better and I'll get a few more years out my $300 HP laptop from Walmart that I got back in 2016.

so did i and had no problems installing. getting everything loaded again was another story ;)

The trick is to get an external unit for the SSD (hope you got an SSD) or whatever, so you can plug it into a USB or firewire connection. It's slow, but you can have both drives at the same time, then you can "just" copy the drive over. There's usually software that comes with the new drive used to clone the old one.

Entire process is easier in a desktop where you simply "plug in" the new drive and then clone the old one over to it.

IDK what I'm eating yet. Had good breakfast, went to store, mowed front yard, etc, so...IDK. Something simple for an easy Saturday. Soup might not heat the house up much, can nuke it.

Was cooler yesterday, and not bad today. Didn't need AC. :)

Time to call it quits. Goodnight Dale, Fran, Tibs, MM, Pepper, snails. :)
