USB-A is on the left (into your computer), lightning is on the right (goes into the ear-phones) .
USB-A is the "older" depreciated standard with the larger plug. Micro-USB is a newer standard. But if you think "normal/standard USB" that's A.

I'm guessing your computer puts out enough amps on the port to charge those buds. But to answer that I need specs on the computer's ports, not just the buds. Generally, I've even powered an e-cig with an old computer's USB port (we used to have USB e-cigs...lol...I think they took USB 2.0 or 3.0 for power). I can't believe these things take that many amps with such a small battery, so you should be OK. Worst case is that you use a 5-V USB wall-wart thing like we often do with e-cig stuff.

You'll need bluetooth of course, and also, if you scroll down on the reviews on these are a bit mixed. Of concern is the 2" charging cable quote (although the pic above implies at least a bit more).

I was just concerned whether a "regular" usb port would work, and apparently it will. If my computer doesn't have enough power (i'm pretty sure it does), I have a wall usb charger and that should work. I'll be connecting it to my fitbit where I have my music stored that I connect now with bluetooth to my earbuds I currently have.

Yes, I saw the issue with the charging cable and I've already found one with good reviews that will replace the one that comes in the box.

thx, Atty

can't imagine it won't work for the ear buds

I don't know apple stuff and I don't like apple stuff; it's probably why I don';t know apple stuff.:) It was the new lingo that confused me. I thought a usb was a usb, but apparently not.

These originally cost $150 and were on sale for $80. I used my $60 amazon gift card I got for using Honey for a total cost of $20. Not bad. I hope I like 'em. If not, I'll send 'em back.

Who's ready for tacos?:D

I'm thinking about an OTA antenna for those times cable is out. Been watching reviews and thinking about it for some time. I have a small set of rabbit ears (amplified) that I use, but they don't receive very well. My neighbor's house blocks a lot of my signals, but a roof top or attic antenna of better gain might help since I can SOMETIMES get the harder channels if the weather is right or I screw with the rabbit ears.

Speaking of outages, I need to get a new carb for the generator too....

Stuff for the Christmas list I suppose. Let's hope the bad storms hold off, or I'll just go ahead and order the carb, that's probably the best idea.
