I particularly like:

"Furthermore, the superintendent wrote that the song is closely tied to a
religious holiday that is not celebrated by everyone in the community."

So why, then, do children who do not celebrate that "religious holiday"
get this entire week off? They should THEREFORE be in school. If you
don't celebrate it, then BAN the week off for those kids. Extend it to
the adults as well. If you do not celebrate it, then get your behinds to
work on the 25th.

Try explaining to the Brightonian kids why "Jingle Bells"
is so nasty that they no longer can sing it without hanging
their heads in shame while wearing sackcloth and ashes.

I'm kind of willing to bet those same kids go around singing
the words (and look 'em up) to the 2021 award-winning song
"WAP" and their parents think NOTHING of it.

But GOD FORBID there is a "jingle bell" attached to a collar.

The hypocrisy is overwhelming.

(PS: "WAP" should be in the censor list, FYI.)

You found a VERY abbreviated version. The original TEXT on rochesterfirst dot
com had much more to say... but maybe they cut that one apart as well.
YEP!!! Edited as of 12:31 today! Wow. Imagine that.
