I had no idea the oscars were on last night. Not that i am a big oscars person, but it's fallen so far that even the pepper has no idea it's showing. I learned of it this morning because will smith slapped the .... out of chris rock. lol that was pretty cool.

And now that I say, regretfully, that I watched a coupleToo too "pop culture" for me anymore. I don't know any
of the names or faces or who is married to who or who is
shacking up with who. I also would not understand any of
the insider jokes. So,

"highlight recaps" of last evening's Oscars, I have to
observe RIGHT THERE is the reason award show ratings
have gone down the ....ter.

It was only 3 or 4 weeks ago when I read Mark Harmon is
no longer on NCIS. See how far behind the times I am?
Astounding, huh? (It took a commercial for me to notice
and look it up... see last paragraph below.)
Even any reruns which do not have Cote (Ziva) are difficult
to watch. Her exit was the beginning of the end.
Who is left?... You'll need to tell me. Duckie?... Palmer?...
McGee? I stopped with the new episodes a long time ago.
So this new guy, Gary Cole ("Alden"), makes my pupils dilate.
But he'll never match those episodes when Gibbs was working
that beard + 'stache visage. Unattainable, never to be bested.
