    Quickie update:

    Vehicle
Note from salesPERSON says "it will be through processing 04/27"
whatever "processing" is. Original delivery date was yesterday, the
22nd. Whatever. I remain in no major rush. But still looking at
    $1500 license plate frames. :)

    Cat
"Frenchie" is now here and in his own room for as long as it takes
for him to decompress and relax. Spending most time in hiding, but
pretty active during last night. I do have to say this, though... the
way I see it, I rescued him FROM a rescue. The place I went to
yesterday was appalling, disgusting and pretty much disturbing. You
may hear or read about those kinds of places... trust me that they
do exist. Only hoping that the change of environment will help him
    along.

    Dad @ Nursing Home
Could not visit him today because (TA-DAAAAA!!!) I tested positive.
Twice. I did my last 7 day's contact tracing and notifying. Nothing
else more I can do. I admit to simply feeling a bit "off" the last few
days, but don't we all at some point?! You-know-who should now
ALSO test, but he's in denial. Ugh. Did get a few things done in
    the yard.

    So...
    Happiness always at Happiness House

chin up, bear! frenchie is home, finally! as to the rescue - i try telling myself at least the animals are safe even if the surroundings are not up to par :(
fingers crossed your symptoms will remain mild. just keep an eye on yourself. the most dangerous days are 5 through 10. supposedly, that's when a turn to the worse occurs in most every case.
congratz on the car - possession is now imminent! :D

    Good evening snails :)

Sorry to hear about your woes Bear :( Hope you don’t get too sick and your car arrives soon. Congratulations on your new family member :)

You’re pretty relaxed about your boys trip this time around Tibs or camouflaging well ;)

Smoked chicken on the menu here tonight.

What I was actually meaning to say is... There is a person also
living in that environment. I agree that hearts in the right place
is more of what is needed. Absolutely. But if it can't be pulled
off in the best interest of ALL involved (and that includes the
caretaker), then it's possible it needs to be scaled back a bit.
As you say, the animals are safe, off the streets and (assumption
here) all getting the proper medical care as needed.

I am FAR from any kind of expert, but what I saw was pretty
much a hoarder situation. In my untrained eyes. <scatter
    salt grains here>

Well, this lady is certainly not invisible to the Monroe County
animal rescue community. I suppose if things are WAY out of
whack, something would have been done by this point. So...
maybe... what I saw is within the "normal" spectrum. Still
does not stop my jaw from hitting the floor.

Was a nice day today. Got over 80 degrees!! :) (just for today, cooler tomorrow, high of 72 and even an cooler 57 on Monday).
Surfed the web and napped, until it got nice and warm out.

Took tire chains off the mower, plow off the mower. Yard cart assembled.
Yard picked up, at least all the big stuff WITH raking. Added to the burn pile down by the lake.
    Cart stowed. ~4 hours.

Fixing a frozen pizza because I just don't give a crap. Going to chill out for the rest of the night.
Drinking a Dr Pepper, just because. ;)

    Boils
    Pestilence
    Frogs
Sorry to hear about your positive test result Bear. Good wishes and prayers for you and for H.B.
    Congrats on the rescue.

The rest of ya sound like you're having a good dinner. That grinder sounds real good right now but I don't have the ingredients on hand and sure as hell don't feel like driving anywhere to get one. :p

And it's that time already. I see Tibby bailed, time for me to go too.
Thinking of you all, have a good night, see you on the flip side.
