i don't know what you consider 'properly' but i never had a problem thawing shrimp in cold water without ill effects

one thing for sure though - i must have had a heavy hand with the pepper flakes, my sinuses are clearing nicely
I have read where "THEY" say... you know, "THEY"...
THEY Who Know All... Thaw in fridge. And I have
found that "in fridge" is around 48 hours. So, "THEY"
win.
I'd think that in a zip-lock bag in tepid water would be
fine. But I am not THEY. It's all fine!... next Friday

I have homemade soup in the freezer but it’s portioned for two. Canned is my lazy go to when it’s just methat might be me tomorrow - i got into tomorrow's portion of shrimp and penne already and shrank it quite a bit!
