    No you can't
    .
    They certainly do.

Friday will be a Primary visit, so $0. REGARDLESS... I'm not exactly
sure of the date when I actually saw HIM, rather than one of his
    PAs.

HE gives not give two "stools" about how long he makes people
wait. I do know he and I had a number of "lively discussions"
regarding his promptness (or lack thereof). And I do remember
that an early 2020 visit ended up with me walking OUT after 60
minutes. And mumbling loudly as I passed through the waiting
    area.

I am almost certain it's been nothing but one of his two PAs
since then. The upcoming visit has him as the attending
physician. I'll see how that works.

I do not do "tardy" very well. ESPECIALLY if I'm the 1st or 2nd
patient of the day. INEXCUSABLE. And I'm doing fine, anyway.
Next time I see him, I'm going to ask "YOU LOOKING TO SEE HOW BAD OR GOOD I'M DOING ?"

    They LOOK for trouble.

Unless I'm writhing and spazzing on the floor in pain
and bleeding from every orifice, I just say "I'm fine".
NEVER give them an opportunity. Never, ever. You'll
walk out with a handful of referrals. Co-pay here,
    co-pay there.

What's that old saying???... If you LOOK for trouble,
    you're going to find it.

    I *HATE* my primary.

See, I KNOW if something is WRONG. I live with me
for 24 hours a day. HE sees me, what... 10-15 minutes
    every 6 months. Hmmmm.

I LOATHE doctors. I get all worked up before every
appointment. He does more DAMAGE than anything.

    Grrr,

I think we have the same PCP.....HATE going there. And he's a one man show. Always at LEAST a one to 2 hour wait. Then another 1/2 hour or so in the patient room. Did I say I HATE it, too?? I abhor TARDY.

There is zero excuse for LATE.

I make the effort (and YOU) to be there on time.

WE have to get ready. WE have to drive there. WE have
to traipse to the office. WE have to check in and answer
all the same questions over and over and over and over
again. Even AFTER doing advance e-check-in.

Plus, the appointment was PROBABLY made MONTHS in
advance. It's not like we are a big SURPRISE just showing
    up at the door.

His grace period is down to 30 minutes once I'm in the
"exam" room... like he examines anything anyway. I once
looked forward to his prostate checks, but he does not
    even do those any more.

30 minutes and 1 second, I walk. again.

Big chip on my shoulder?... you bet.
