Sigh... now yellow jacket infestation.

Noticed a few in the kitchen the last week
or so. Went on the deck to get the grill in
position for Burgers 2Nite and ran into a
swarm at the kitchen window.

SKEEVE ME OUT! I'm all itchy and scratchy
now.

(Those are bees, but you get the idea.)

Gave things a good spraying, 3x with 30
minutes in-between each.

Once they move on, then it's time to find how
they made it indoors

Ugh. :(

Funny, that's happening to me, too. Somehow got in by front windows in living room. Marsha nailed them good, but there is a hive right outside front door. Sprayed the hell out of them, ordered more spray, as this is probably old stuff. Will nail them in the dark of night this evening, then more when Amazon brings it tomorrow. I'm allergic. I wanna know how they got in, were in a little gang at top corner of window, as though plotting the demise of the residents. UGH is right!

Just that picture makes me squirm!!

It's the time of year for the queen (LOL, ROFL) to find her
over-winter nesting spot. Nights are cooling down. I am
GUESSING she is bringing all the Commoners along with
    her. With their horse faces.

The Commoners will all die over Winter. SHE will live on.

4, maybe 5 years ago, they did the same thing in a different
spot and showed up in the basement.

BEES are one thing. We WANT bees.

    WASPS are quite another.

    Creep me out.

PS: The original can was old old old and did not have much
power behind the spray. Like an old man with a prostate
problem. Found a brand new one on the basement. Kind of
like what YOU described. Interesting coincidence.

There is a bunch of them still flying around the entry spot.
Fewer, but still. No burgers tonight. Indoor burritos with
all kinds of good things piled on top.

Does that get me in The Dinner Game???

There are ways to keep them away from your house using scents.

What a day. We went to the Reina Sofia Museum. It took about 4 hours to get thru, but some awesome art--i'll post some cool pics later. The real star of the show was dinner. I wanted some authentic Paella--even here they'll freeze it and warm it up. I spoke with my super host for our airbnb and she pointed us in the right direction. What an incredible meal of seafood paella with a couple bottles of white wine. Here's a few pics. Only locals were here, no tourists.

pics inside restaurant--such a cool feeling.
