I take it back!!!OK... the landline is working.
That is "Fix #5" since May.
3rd one in September.
I'll see how long this one lasts.
I would not even speak to the technician. Same
one, June and 2 previous September visits.

The landline is NOT working.
Instead of total silence, I now have static.
The pole guy FIXED 2 neighbors. He did NOT fix
me. And, he's gone.
The utility says my "trouble ticket" is scheduled
for the 28th. But, the technician was up on the
pole fixing 2 others. He was up there for well
over an hour. Easily.
Job security. That's all it is.
I really feel like hurting somebody.
