good morning,people. woke to the sound of rain. it sounded so peaceful and it was. didn't get out of bed until 8am.
it was a little chilly but my sleeping bag and heated mattress pad did the trick. too much trouble to cook breakfast so i had a bowl of cereal. going into town and mess around. no hiking today. good news is rain will stop later this afternoon and sunshine tomorrow morning.
thank gawd because it's a real hassle to pack up everything in the rain, especially that damn tent.
