scrambling to catch up with preparations here - the boy and his dw will be here this afternoon!

Temperatures dropped from 44 to 22, we’re having chili!

Up here in the north woods the temps are dropping rapidly. It's -25° F now and heading to -40° F later today and into Friday and Saturday. Yesterday and into the morning today we got a good foot of snow. They say we're supposed to get another three inches or so.

Hope Atty and GF are doing okay. They're supposed to be getting blizzard conditions with snow in excess of a foot and strong winds. Being on the Lake Michigan side of MI they get all that extra lake effect snow.

fingers crossed atty is in decent shape snow-wise! for us it was all rain but temps supposed to drop to 8 degrees friday night in so. virginia
