morning, y'all! with pepper pestering me and calling at all hours of the day i better set the record straight - i'm not in immediate danger of dying afaik. what i have is permanent lung damage due to smoking and kicked into overdrive by covid. air is getting trapped in my lungs which prevents new air from coming in. that's why i'm constantly fighting to breathe. this makes me feel pretty unsociable but i promise to pop in for a good morning occasionally or at least hit the 'like' button so you know i'm under the living.

Aren't there any of the newer procedures that can help? Does oxygen help at all?

There's this physics blog (among many) I follow that has a gal who has Long Covid...and she's pretty much disabled. That Covid is a sneaky thing, and impacts people differently. Don't envy you at all. My love to you, and we're all thinking about you.
