Sunny and cool this morning, yesterday we hit 78. Today is supposed to be a little cooler at 69. I’m definitely not ready for the heat.

Just me tonight so I had some ham and an apple. DH and Bela will eat at the church game night, sometimes they’ll bring me some sweets.

Yeah, but this particular dish hearkened back to my childhood. My mother would fix it during Lent. I remember fussing about a Lenten supper once. My mother replied that when she was a child they always looked forward to meatless Fridays, because then they would have shrimp or lobster. My response..."if you served shrimp or lobster it would be fine, but all we ever get is tuna or fish sticks." I was a sassy mouthed teen.
