My Gd who is renting my home in Marlow, NH has been without power since early this morning due to ice and trees done. Hope she gets it back soon but there is a wood stove there so it should be at least warm.

Here, storms seem to have missed me (Yay) so far, but I'm not counting my chickens yet, more clouds on the way.

Tornadoes North of me, South of me, but missed me and GF and DS. Storm line passed.
We really need, as a society, to do better with tornado sirens and such. County-level granularity is insufficient in this day and age. People get so jaded that they ignore them, to their peril.
And if you have cable TV, you get his pop-up thing that has nearly zero information other than a county list, and it stops you from going to the live station coverage that tells you what is going on. It's better than nothing, I suppose, but still. Grrrr.
