Surprised we haven't lost power at all.......yet. The trees are heavy with sticking snow.

So...
OK, I watch ONE (that's 1, uno, singular) TV show regularly...mostly out of habit now. The Big Bang Theory.

So Comcast's X1 system goes out. It's their sever or their network. They always throw up a message to check YOUR wires and connections like it's your fault, but it's not. It's them. It happens a few times per week. Usually during busy times. Seldom at 2:00 am or something. It's usually during busy times. The internet is working. The phone is working. Basic cable is probably fine. It's this X1 thing.

They owe a lot of users across the country some $$$$. I'm tell'n ya. No, it's not just me. There's forums FULL of this complaint.

FYI -

Upon parusing the internet about X1 errors, it turns out that your CABLE MODEM (I use/rent comcast's ) can mess up X1. They claim "oh no, that's not it" but several users confirm that if they reset their cable modem, X1 starts working!

I tried it. It's working again. Go figure.
