I'd rather multi-millionaire actors just said "thanks" and quit grandstanding. But, hey, most mega actors = Egos on legs with guilt complexes. She did get lots of extra media coverage. I'm sure more people have seen her rant than watched the awards, as it was all over the news today.
And of course, Trump got on twitter.
Politics and religion...avoid both at social events.

The thing today was "dread". I'm sure all first-timers are lured in
with calming words from the doc and led down the Primrose Path.

So now that I have two - count'em TWO - false alarms of the SAME
THING due to my Primary, he's going to get quite an earful to just
BACK OFF, JACK... in May. I am torqued off. I want to get in to
see him ASAP while I'm still riled. But, I'll sleep on it.
