If ele goes out for me, I'm screwed (no fireplace or wood stove), hence the generator.

No we don't need it to heat unless it's really really cold. It sucks to have no coffee though and no lights. It's dark out there.

Hus said he checked on Oreo around 23h00 and he was in the
process of backing down the tree. When he made it to the
ground, he dashed off somewhere into the night.
But, he was at the back door this morning, as usual.

Happy "Stew-Making" Tuesday to all!
Going to be cutting and cubing and flouring and browning
most of the morning away. I really should learn how to
use the food processor (and its vast array of blades and
accessories) to reduce the work... but not sure it's possible
to cut the veggies into large enough pieces. It WILL be
used on an upcoming "Soup-Making" day, though.
