My vet agrees with trying the brace first and has given me a referral to the DVM/PT who does them more regularly. Problem is that her office phone has been out (apparently it's a problem in the building where her office is located- the cardiologist next door's phone is out too). Both my vet's office and I are trying periodically. I should get an eval scheduled within the next couple of days.
No walkies today, but we're still doing short walks here and there (she'll stay quieter through the day if she gets morning exercise)
time to get the day started. Later y'all

So glad a decision has been made. I think she will do very well. Thanks for letting us know. Fingers crossed that you can get in soon and get that brace on. Want to see pics when she gets it!!

Do you have your numbers...total .....hdl...ldl...? And what is the ratio (that's the most important number. Also, your triglycerides?Is your blood sugar elevated?
