venture into the roads, watch out for drainage gratings that run parallel
to the curb. I found THAT out the VARY HARD way back when I was an
innocent child.

, now that would be something I would do. I ride on the street. No sidewalks in this park. Streets are quiet, though, and "mostly" level. I do stay away from the gratings. Well, with the way I make my turns, the possibility still exists I could MAYBE land in one, but I really stay away from them. And I am remembering that I DO have brakes.
