    Good morning y'all

So, my mom's house in Phoenix is under contract, with closing scheduled for mid-october!!

My construction hasn't started (argh) , but i think i have the contractors identified and starting next week i get to jump through the financing hoops. I think it won't be done by the time she's ready to move here, but we'll figure something out in the meantime.
    Good morning CES :)

    Oh boy

Good morning, Gracie and CES :)
CES, sounds like you're in for a ride. Buckle up!!!! :w00t:

Yep....lots of changes. they'll be good ones. I think my mom and i will do well together, but it'll take just a teensy bit of adjustment. i've been living alone for 15 years and settled in this house for 10 of them. She's been on her own for 3 years, and in the house she's been in for ~ 20 years. The construction will make the change easier (for me) , as will the fact that we'll use much of her furniture, because it's nicer than mine. We'll both have a combination of familiar and unfamilar stuff, though she'll have a lot more newness to deal with.

Sounds like it will be just fine once the dust settles....:)

I will most certainly NOT take her in.

    (No offense, CES.)
And a good morning to you most gracious one

I assume, it almost goes without saying, that she loves dogs...
Sounds like a great life-change for both of you, CES. :)

    Good morning snails.

So Dale, tell me more about this new PV.
    Good morning Atty :)

It's not actually a "new" PV, just a ProVari that has a dragon etched on it. I've looked at them many times wanting one but now that they are in the 30 dollar range and with an extra 10% discount off that I could no longer resist

    Good morning
Florida seems to have a bit of brightness this morning...not full sunshine, but not gloomy !
Good morning Classy, glad things are lightening up for you over there :)

    morning, ces and gracie! ;)

@CES - if it gets too crowded with construction and second occupant ;) send your mom a bit north for a couple of weeks!

I'm hoping to rent the house across the street for a couple of months - we both agree that it's too much for her and her kitties during construction.
Otherwise , I already have 2-3 friends that have offered. :)

I will most certainly NOT take her in.

    (No offense, CES.)

no offense at all Bear- besides you're way too far north. ;)
