I don't want to get into semantics here, Atty, but it's not a Federal holiday, either, so, not sure what you are sayin' here. It IS a celebration, of sorts, but I sure don't celebrate it.

After 2 days off on the woodpile I'm back at it today. Got one load in the shed. 2-3 more and I'll have the 2nd pile all picked up. Gotta go out back now and load up some kindling....UGH.

What I was saying was all my stuff is frozen.Besides, IDK if she feels like eating. Regardless, she decided not to come over so as to not spread the cold. So no contact. I know you can say "Get takeout food, and leave bag" but she'll just fix something from around there. And there's her kid and future DL running around there, back and forth between houses. So...
Never did get out to BJs for the non-perishables. I'll do that tomorrow and
pick up a couple salads (macaroni-ish, potato-ish) and one of their good-
sized rotisserie chickens for dinner-with-Dad Wednesday. It's going to be
over 90 (a-frigging-gain) so I do not want him to cook anything, much less
go outside and to a local eatery.
Opted for laundry, backyard trimming and mowing, and now out to the
deck to relax and re-build a couple of tanks. Probably call CasinoHag and
see how her recuperation is coming along.
