So... there were two cats "in contention" for a new home...
...the one I went to see today and the property of hus' co-worker.
I was supposed to go tomorrow, but I changed it to today because
of the Dad-car thing... had the day open up.
...another via FB. Casino Hag was being an intermediary between
me and the owner asking questions. But I did end up calling the
woman yesterday to get some details. And promising nothing,
explicitly.
So... the one from today is now here. She's in her own room, but
has been hiding since around noon. Not shocking or concerning.
It's a big change. I get it. And Ty-Grr knows SOMETHING is going
on.
Now, Casino Hag is completely ticked off at me that I did not choose
the other cat or even give it a chance. I got the
"no problem" and
"it's all good" thing, which means it's a
HUGE problem and it's
NOT
all good. She texted the owner and said I am no longer interested
rather than let *ME* give the woman a call and express regrets...
like, immediately. And then she posted the cat on her timeline...
and then was sure to share that she and the owner are now FB
friends.
Drama. That's pretty much all FB is good for, I'd say.
