good morning, frannie!
and he MIGHT be right, kat! on top of normal aging pd adds even more time to visual processingdh gave up driving after 2 close calls this summer. your brother might have to change his driving style to allow for that.
i hope he heals fast - he must have hit the other car with minimal speed since the air bad did not deploy.
Good morning y'all
Fran, we need rain here too.
Tibs, sorry the appointment didn't yield better settings for DH
Kat, sending good thoughts for your brother. Scary.
Bear, hope the fall doldrums subside soon
Gracie, glad you've got the post-hurricane clean up done/almost done
Dale, hope you're well
Atty, hope you're well too
Mad, good luck with getting the mats out of kitty fur.
The moving truck with Mom's stuff arrived yesterday. Offloading into the house was fairly fast, but they had to play jigsaw puzzle to get everything else into the storage space and we still ended up having to get a second space, argh. On the bright side, the appraisal was good and I should be able to close on the building loan in teh next two weeks- which should mean that construction can start in early-mid November. Whew!
Good morning, CES, and thanks for the good thoughts...
Looks like things are falling into place for you. Hope it's smooth sailing from here on out.
How are the beasties handling things?

it probably won't be completely smooth, but at least we'll be sailing
the beasties are hanging in- they don't seem horribly freaked by the changes in furniture and stuff. The girl dog lurks by the door to mom's room (where the cats live). When she sneaks too close to the door (ie within a distance the engenders hissing and growling from one of the cats) , i just slide her back across the wood floor to the minimum lurking distance. She also tries to walk into the room with to mom, in a perfect heel position...as if "nothing to see here, just walking with a person through just any old door, see what a good beastie I am"
it's gonna take a bit of time - possibly forever.![]()
