Almost 5 years ago the town said they were going to pave Marlow Hill Road (the big hill). Well a year went by and no pavement.Another year went by and the town announced that they couldn't pave the road because it had never been paved before (pretty lame excuse). So then they said the were going to make Marlow Hill Road the best dirt road in the county. Year went by,2years went by. Finally about a month ago a ton of machinery has moved in along with huge piles of dirt in the road or huge holes. It makes getting home a challenge.

Gracie,I actually didn't think they would do anything with the road so it was a surprise. Suppose to cure the spring mucky mud problem.

Well, I hope it sure does something good.......with the cold weather approaching along with freezes, then work will come to a halt.
