morning, frannie, dale, kat, gracie and ces! ;)

blame the democrats, ces ;) they had their chance but opted for clinton ...............

i dunno...i've had conversations with people who are just so fed up, that they're willing to risk burning the country down for change... some of them are privileged white guys with lots of money, who will come out fine either way. Others are hurting, and don't see that proposed policies and or burning everything down isn't all that likely to help them.

i think a campaign that harnessed the worst in people is more likely to blame...and the flames got fanned by rhetoric, sound bites, and unwillingness to look at policy detail because it was too boring or too difficult.

We're inside, so i know this isn't the place for debate. It's done and i hope that my fears are unfounded.

I lean old-school bleeding heart liberal...thinking that educating, caring for people, and making sure that all have enough so that they can make informed, responsible decisions and choices

(I don't enjoy debate for it's own sake, and i certainly don't enjoy bullying and shouting - that's why i don't go there)

...anyway..time to walk the beasties. Life goes on.

OK. You weren't following the logic.

The question is....WHY?
The only logical answer is "ambiance". Because it won't pay for itself, and it will make the rest of the house be cold (assuming thermostat is in the living room and that you don't have "zones", but IDK.)
What I hear... and only what I have heard... is that it "would be nice".

"Nice" does not warrant having a fireproof floor installed...
piping going through the ceiling, attic and then roof. Ongoing
maintenance. ANOTHER thing to clean (guess who?).

Even the gas fireplace in the what-was-supposed-to-be hot tub
room... the ignitor crapped the bed a few years ago. But seeing
how that room has become anything BUT the "hot tub room" and
we spend precious little time in it (Clare and Frisk-E used it as their
safe space for their initiation periods), I refuse to spend ANY $
getting it fixed. My reply is: "Unless that room RETURNS to its
originally-intended use, that fireplace can remain inoperative.
YOUR move, hubs."

G'mornin, snails!

I'm SO RELIEVED we're not going to have FOUR more years of the last EIGHT!

While I was never pro-Trump, I have faith that our government will finally start leaning towards being run the way it was intended, with the Checks and Balances inherent to the system of the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches.
