Back from MD... no follow-up for 6 months. He re-wrote the script
for Wellbutrin to get around the "90 pill limit" imposed by my insurance,
so we'll try giving that a shot - again - to further reduce (eliminate?)
actual smoking. (The limit is for scripts written as "smoking cessation".
Since Wellbutrin is also for other things, he wrote it for other things.)

Also need to see a "male doctor" as another follow-up from something
"suspicious" in 2007... which turned out to be nothing. ::sigh:: The doc
is going to need to REALLY CONVINCE me that he needs to do what he
did in '07. I'll just leave it at that.

Stopped and saw Spirit, just for about 10 minutes. The owner was
working, so I did not want to bogart a lot of her time. I took just a
few pics... will post them here a little later.

Now to call Dad for daily check-in.

Now that you've pointed it out it sure doesn't look good does it?
Well... no. It does not. I thought it might be a strawberry, but that
black spot should not be there, especially for a "staged" picture.

Maybe it's a piece of coconut with fruit juices.

Let me get those pics of Spirit... hold...

Oh... and just to show you how "things go"...

I called to schedule the appointment and was offered this coming Monday
at 09h45. Now... guess what?... Clare has her first vet appointment at
09h20 that very same day. (See what I mean?) So, I declined the offer
and asked for the next opening. Get this: January 30th. Which is fine,
actually... in NO RUSH to have THAT done again. And at least in January,
there will be a pile of snow I could use as a post-procedure soothing/
numbing agent. :D I'm sure that will get a few stares from folks coming
    into the office. :D :D :D

I took 3 pics, but one had the kitty with a blurry head. HE is an
incredibly active, happy and friendly cat. :) Loved to be pet and
held... jumping up and down off everything.

The owner also mentioned that the "gofundme" campaign (set up
for her by another FB person) raised most of the money to pay for
the rehab work. The rest was covered by in-person donations and
    a "paypal-me" effort.

    Anyway...

According to the lady, the vet and surgeon THINK the jaw injury was
most likely due to a kick  because there were no other injuries
found... then just dumped along the road. How lucky for him that
she drove by when she did. :thumb:
