morning, mr bear! glad they might be wrong! ;)
The backside of the counter-clockwise "GYRE" has
yet to pass over. That will be later today, tonight and
tomorrow. It's pretty slow-moving. I have nothing
planned for outdoors tomorrow, so, whatever happens
is fine.

Two snowthrowers brought out of hiding yesterday and
shovels taken off wall hooks, so we're ready. Oh... and
lots of calcium chloride for walkway and around-car use...
to protect our delicate age-related brittle bones from
injury.

guess atty got hit ;)

good morning, sunshine!
There's still snow on the ground here. Wow.
Our first snowfall doesn't usually stick like that. Quite a cold-front that came through.
Went from nearly 70 to just above freezing in one day.

Good morning y'all

can't be liking the snow y'all are getting. ick. we had our first frost last night.

('liking' a recipe blog was probably accidental, but mom does have this thing about having actual meals, so a bit more cooking is happening in the house. not a bad thing now that there are two of us)

Rushed my .... home from Dad's 'cuz "they" are saying things will
start kicking in around 14h00 and we "are in for it".

Hubs is off to his Mom's... so what better time to start continue
online Christmas shopping. I see he has a few DVDs, a suggested
gift card, and (get this) 39 (!!!39!!!) books on his Amazon "wish
list". Now, a good chunk of those books are the 1c things (but
you pay $3.99 shipping). So... I have to go through each one...
and make note of which sellers have which books. If you buy
multiples from one seller, shipping remains $3.99 total.

That needs be done PRE-wine... or tomorrow... or Tuesday. I'll
take care of the DVDs today.

I probably have over 100 books in my list. M keeps track of all I've read, then, buys so many off the list. She's much more organized than I am. You 2 would get along wonderfully!

Some of the titles sound very familiar... but the "added" dates
are all 2016. I'll have to search past orders and be sure there
are no dupes. Hubs is a voracious reader and absolutely prefers
actual BOOKS over kindle-type devices. He tried a few on the
tablet and said he did not like "the experience".
