Some of the titles sound very familiar... but the "added" dates
are all 2016. I'll have to search past orders and be sure there
are no dupes. Hubs is a voracious reader and absolutely prefers
actual BOOKS over kindle-type devices. He tried a few on the
tablet and said he did not like "the experience".

i used to be that way but changed my ways i do most all of my reading in bed while lying on my side which makes holding a book rather uncomfortable. at least that's the conclusion i came too after using the tablet for a while!

can't be liking the snow y'all are getting. ick. we had our first frost last night.

('liking' a recipe blog was probably accidental, but mom does have this thing about having actual meals, so a bit more cooking is happening in the house. not a bad thing now that there are two of us)

Now, that's a good thing!

Rushed my .... home from Dad's 'cuz "they" are saying things will
start kicking in around 14h00 and we "are in for it".

I just commented to my man that I miss the snow, and he quickly responded.......watch it on TV........
I miss that quiet flurry and the peacefulness of that first snow......then, the rest of it......nah

I've donated quite a few hard copies to Good Will, but kept my classics and a few other gems I have......but on a daily basis, I use the Kindle......but, just yesterday I needed to find a quote, and did pick up a real book to find it....it rather felt like home again.

I don't even have a kindle. Never had the desire. I love the feel of a book in my hands and I found a way to lay in bed comfortably with my book. Maddy, of course, lays behind my knees all cuddly and warm...
