It's simply a mess of snow out there. :: sigh ::

Hubs did enough of the driveway to get out and off to work.
I'll need to get out there and clean up the rest, and help out
the mail delivery truck. Plow came by and DUMPED, but far
enough away from the edge to make mail access just about
impossible.

I gave Oreo his food through the house front door/flap and
this was the first time he did not flee through his back door/
flap. But, I now see fresh prints (and belly trough) through
the snow and off the deck. "They" say we set a record for
snow yesterday... and there was plenty more after midnight.

:: ugh ::

At least it's the light fluffy stuff.

..........

"Good  " morning, folks.

Good morning, SweetSexySensualBear!! Are you getting more snow this weekend? They are calling for snow to sleet to freezing rain with 1/4 ice here

This is what "they" say for the weekend:

    But they lie like rugs.

I really really really wanted to go out today for errands.

Can they be put off for a bit?
Tomorrow and Sunday are "the weekend before Christmas",
so it will be a madhouse out there and I detest crowds.

I'll just keep an eye on the road cameras and see if I can
make a break for it later. If the main roads are down to
pavement, I can just grit my teeth and white-knuckle it
down "my" road. Scares the hell out of me... snowy roads.

Speaking of which... I am keeping a VERY close and :glare:ing
eye on the forecast for Christmas Day. I will need to go pick
up my Dad to bring him over for dinner (~60 miles) and then
take him back home and come back (another ~60 miles).

    Right now:

    Good morning y'all

Bear, glad the Oreo is using his house, hoping the weather for getting your dad to your house for the day is better than it looks.

Sewer line is repaired- guys got here early, did more than we at first thought, finished quickly and did a good job for a very reasonable price. Nice. These are also the guys who will be plumbing the addition, so they went ahead and added the sewer tie in for the addition. Feels promising even though it's still slow going getting started.
