Hi, ChelsB and welcome to our humble, little abode. Nothing like your first day here and you get us all going with the incorrect spelling of Tinga........you'll fit in just fine, here.

More like a Mexican version of SOS

    California. Whatayagonnado?
Chels, did you guys secede yet?
I hear there's a movement upsurge since Trump won. ;)

BTW, you're on the way to getting a nickname. We seldom use full user names. Chel or Chels most likely unless you speak up.

I swear I was about to go to my local B&M and ask for friends! Looking like the total nerd that I am! Looks like I found the right place! Not that you're nerds, but you get the idea!

We're all nerdy from time to time. Some more than others and don't ask for names!!

Okay, here's my story and I am sticking to it. :)I tried vaping back in 2012, but it didn't stick. I cheated several times and just gave up and went back to analogs. Then this last August 26th, I decided that I would quit for good, because I have a 3 year old and he deserves to have me healthy. I cheated once and for the first time, it tasted TERRIBLE (when I used to cheat, I'd love it and it was delicious), I was thrilled! Finally! Now, I know I'll never go back to analogs!
I'm still a total newbie...but I need lots of variety. I use daily: 3 ego aios, a Kanger sub vod C and an icare mini. As an early xmas present, my friend let me pick out a new device and I chose the smok M80 plus. I was SO excited to get it but upon receipt, I realized I was WAY out of my league. So the M80 is sitting on a shelf until I learn more about how to use it.
I also "inherited" a Kayfun 5 from someone (another long story I'll share later) and I've successfully built 3 coils, but that is on hold too, since I cant use my M80

Sounds like you're well on your way, and past newbie stage!

I just use Kanger sub-tank mini's now. Meh. Everyone has their own pref. There's LOTS of options.

As to juice, the more flavors you play with to keep you obsessed for a while the easier it is, IMO. I started with DIY juice and flavorings...so I "played" with recipes and flavors for 6 moths to a year, and then settled in.

Now, I'm vaping unflavored most of the time. :p

6.5 years for me. :) So I know it's possible.

The thing people don't realize is that with any NRT there's still a withdrawal from cigs/tobacco. There's like 7000+ chemicals in cig-smoke, and only ONE of them is nicotine. I went through a withdrawal about 3 weeks in where I almost caved in, but I stuck with it. After a few weeks it was fine again. And like I said, obsessing with flavor-tinkering and also modding (as we called it at the time) helped pass the time.

Sounds like you're on a good track. Stick with it!
