Maybe I'm not looking diligently enough but...

...seems like The Deeming hair-tearing has subsided a bit. Should we continue
to stock up on supplies?

I'm not sure what to think. Over here in CA, I don't think the tax increase will affect prices so long as I order out of state

Ya know technically...you are supposed to pay the tax for online and out of state purchases on your taxes ?

Is the CA tax-thing like PA? (Ask Katmar.) ie: "honour system". You
order from out of state, but it behooves you declare the purchase
AND pay the appropriate tax... on some non-existent form (again,
Katmar-land).

Knowing what NY did to people who bought analogs online for years
and years and years (while it was still legal), the state delved into
credit card histories and found those people (well... some of them)
and the state sent tax-due bills (some for 1000s of $).

I wonder if states will do the same?... those like PA.

Forgot to mention about the above ^ ...

... it's a special form that bestows the privilege of paying 40% tax
on vaping supplies. PA, that is.

(Not just state-level "internet usage" product-purchase tax.)

Well, not going-out-for-hub's-birthday tomorrow night. His work
group does a pizza lunch on people's birthdays and he does not
think he'll be very hungry after work. That ALSO gets me out of
making anything extra-special at home. Awwww!!! Darn it all!!!
Poor me! Awwwww!!!

(But there will still be cake and iced creamies.)

supposed to pay the tax for online purchases
yup!

so, in virginia it's always good to stay under 100 bucks ;)
''Consumer's use tax is the "other half" of the Virginia retail sales and use tax requirements. Typically, you incur the consumer's use tax if you made more than $100 in purchases during the year for which you did not pay sales tax. Common instances of these types of transactions are purchases from the Internet, mail-order catalogues and cable television shopping channels. The tax also applies to tax-free purchases you make outside of Virginia, such as buying furniture at an outlet in another state and having it shipped to Virginia. The tax is 5% of the cost of regular non-food purchases and 2.5% on purchases of food for home consumption. Report the tax by filing Form CU-7 by May 1 each year, or by reporting it on Schedule ADJ, line 21.''

don't know why kat reported a problem :?:
