It still lessens the impact if you've had a shot recently. Katmar would be better by now if it's flu.
I get a flu shot every year and I think you're nuts for skipping it, but to each their own.

Had flu shot. It's not flu. No fever, no color in sinus "discharge", just achy, sneezy, VERY tired, cough. Marsha's dad is starting to feel better. Her mother got it same day as me and we are about the same, sick wise. Everyone I've talked that had something similar, said it was nasty, but they eventually got better. Am doing tons of fluids, gargling, and may send M to get some Mucinex when she gets up. I used to get this sick when I got colds. I always had a worse cold than everyone else. Hard to believe I haven't had one since '09 when I quit smoking and started vaping, but this one snuck past somehow. Note to self: Before going to family gatherings, ASK if anyone is sick!!!!
