Any way you can call them and actually speak to a living person?
I did. And she fixed my 2017 projected income. And she put a note
in my "file" that those-who-determine will actually SEE my MSWord
doc that explains everything.

HOWEVER... essentially... I am back to 16nov16. Square One.
Day One.

But that will not stop the bad info from being sent to my provider.
Because "systems" and all. Which will bollocks things up even more.

I "liked" the last part.

But regardless, enjoy your future tax-free "healthcare spending account" savings. It will be GREAT!!!!!!!!!!
The HSA thing will also need to be approved by the IRS, I believe.

There is currently a limit as to how much someone may contribute
annually. It's fairly low. (I'll look.) If you are over 55 (50?), there
is a 1-time deal where it's over $4300 or so... I did that in 2013
for the first year of ACA.

So this HSA thing isn't JUST *poof* wave a Magic Wand. There's
much more to it. There are tax laws, COMPUTER SYSTEMS, and
myriad other obstacles.

Sure... they may "repeal and replace"... but it ain't happening any
time soon. Trump is a special kind of loon.

Here... 2017 is $3400 for single.

(The 55+ thing was for an additional $1000, one-time. Sorry,
fading memory.)

2017 HSA Contribution Limits

So... what will $3400 get somebody? Not much if above and
beyond typical Primary office calls. Better stay away from the
ER and take a pass on any necessary surgeries. Hope nobody
needs chemo... or dialysis...

And if you scroll down on that linked page, you will see that Medicare
expenses are EXCLUDED from new HSA $$$. (You can use existing
HSA $, but not make any further contributions.)

So, there is another IRS-related thing which will need to be changed
if tRUMP wants to make Medicare HSA, which I have read he DOES.

His *poof* Magic Wand will go all flaccid on him.

Who knew?!?!?! Meryl was talking to HIM way back in 1992!!!

Oh... and another thing about HSAs... you are only able to contribute
if you are ENROLLED IN a "HDHP" health care plan. "HIGH DEDUCTIBLE,
HIGH PREMIUM" = HDHP. That's another IRS rule.

Mr. Citrus Head is just going to go in there and rewrite all those rules
*poof* overnight!!! Right. What a maroon. What a nin-cow-poop.
    Really.

Good evening and goodnight, Snails. Sleep well, pleasant dreams and a better tomorrow for ALL :)
Rain and wind still here. Couldn't fix the screen, so I duct taped plastic. Yes, duct taped. Where would the world be without it????? Didn't want my little Maddy to get blown across the deck. It was a series of misfortunate events, just like Lemony Snickets, but I got 'er done!!!
