up the phone and it's a telemarketer, they get it blasted into
their ears. I also have a metal police whistle in the living
room which serves the same purpose. (Both scare the kitties,
though.)

my friend used to hand the phone to her granddaughters and say to them...Oh it's for you, talk all you want....and they'd grab the phone and chat away til the line went dead

Going to "Casino West" with Hag this morning/lunch/afternoon.
Hope to be home in time to rush to grocery and pick up veggies
to go into tomorrow's beef stew... then home to prep dinner.
