Tib,we have friends from outlaws to angels but no insurance agents.

no friends needed ;) walk into any insurance office; let them do research and present you with results. say 'thank you, i need to think about this' and leave :p

you also can get some ideas here

but as i said before - access to specialists and a good hospital is important for your dh. you don't want to sign up and then find out what you want is out of network!

Good Saturday afternoon, all!

..........

Can't really offer any advice re: Medicare supplemental/gap/advantage/gold
or any other myriad names for those plans. I only know about the three (3)
my Dad's provider offers, and it's a fairly simple choice for his needs.

Earlier today, the live "head" fell of a cigarette-in-hand, and I did not see
it drop. I got a couple whiffs of a plastic-y fabric-y burning, stood up, and
saw a hole burnt right through the seat of my Herman Miller "Aeron" chair.
Sigh. I've had it since 2002 and nary a SCRATCH on it. I did a patchwork
"weave" to prevent it from getting bigger, but will need to find someplace
who can do a more professional(-looking) job with more substantial thread.

No place local. It would cost $$$ to box the seat and have it shipped
someplace and get it back who-knows-when. If I find some place
local (upholstery repair place), there's a possibility of same-day
turnaround... maybe one overnight.
I can sews it fer ya

LOL! $100, $150 for just the seat piece to support my taut,
firm ....!!!???

Thank you (and Atty!) for the suggestions. Think I'll just have
the hole repaired. Actually, what I did in the meantime does
not look TOO bad. If I'm not sitting on it, then it's under the
desk.
