In the really weird department...
Someone, just a bit ago, pulled into my driveway, drove 1/2 way in (about 100 feet), stopped. IDK what they did or how long they were there*, but I saw them backing out, and then they went up the road, turned, and then headed east. Weird. They didn't get out of the car. I'm thinking maybe meter reader (using RF reader?), but they didn't stop at any other houses that I know of. I hate that stuff. Need a gate.
Maybe a moat. Do they allow moats? Moat. Definite moat. With bridge. I don't think alligators will survive up here...too cold.
* = It was dark, just barely starting to get light, all I could see was headlights backing out until they went down the road. So that's when I noticed them; while backing out. I went to the mailbox and put a letter in and that's how I know that there were no prints in the snow other than the ones I left going to the mailbox. You have to wonder if people are looking to rob houses or something. Ya know? Probably a meter reader. Probably. Yeah.

Maybe. But why would they drive 100 feet in? I get people turning around at the end of the drive way occasionally. But driving 1/2 way in along a ?200? (over estimate) foot drive? Not usually. It's just odd, that's all. I was mostly joking about needing a moat.
But it makes you wonder if people are scoping things out. :/
It could have been a meter reader. The car MAY have been marked, IDK. Dark.

You need a motion detector that triggers a spotlight on top of a 3-story tower to automatically train on any encroaching unknown...said spotlight also needs a high-res camera capable of significant zoom. However, the actual engagement of the light beam should be housed on a manual remote (something like a fitbit, maybe?) that you activate.

Do they have auto-tracking cannon turrets?
You know, like in Portal only with cannons? (Goes with the moat). Boiling hot flaming oil, or boiling water optional.
