I've never had creme brulee' ... would like to try one someday

Not missing much. I've never understood the fascination. It's basically a vanilla custard with a burnt-sugar (caramelized sugar) top. Might have some hooch in the custard.

I found the recipe.

It's more of a cinnamon-roll, but no cinnamon! Lots of butter, sugar and apricot jam.

I looked at the recipe too ... lots of butter indeed!
I'd have to find a different jam though as apricot is not something I care for
