I saw a few posts back about sleeping and the problems some people
have. (I can't relate because sleep - and staying there - comes easy
for me.) But...

I have two friends that preach the gospel of "binaural beat" sleep
enhancement. It's FAR from a new thing, but I had never heard of it
until they started talking about it.

Here's a link with a fairly brief background and some examples. When
you're reading, the word is ENTRAINMENT (not "entertainment"). It's
also important to note that binaural beat media requires the use of
headphones or earbuds
. Plain speakers will NOT work.

Here's more stuff AND a binaural beat generator to play with. Anything
in blue is clickable... look for the little blue hearts at the bottom in
"testimonials".

For night-long therapy, search YouTube for "binaural beats" and look
for ones lasting 8 or 9 hours.

Here is one:

PS... I have read in a few places that folks with epilepsy should not
mess with this stuff. FWIW.

Yeah, you know what messes up my sleep?
Wearing earplugs or headphones...
:glare:

That's ALL you got out of that?

Did you even READ the links?
Did you even CLICK on them?

Despite the patented "Atty Pooh-Pooh" [® 200x-201x AttyPops, Inc. LLC]...
if anybody tries it, let me/us know.

The friends have also said they have shocking and amazingly lucid vivid dreams.
I should give it a shot and find out. But first, I'd need earbuds with a decently
long cord. I only have headphones.

Yeah, that means they're not sleeping well. (Not deeply enough).

You can do that with too much nic too. I once went to sleep with a nic patch on, during prior quitting attempts.
"Lucid dreaming" is one of the side effects.
Not fun times.

And I've heard of binaural stuff before. Like you said, not new.

UGH,I really don't need to read the news.
Don't watch the news; haven't in a very long time......dh listens and I go back to my playroom which houses the computer and another TV.

I've been doing Holosync since 2003 and I do have a seizure disorder, but fortunately, it hasn't affected me adversly. I don't have sleep issues.....only if I stay up too late and get a second wind. High end earphones are a must for the binaural beats although a GOOD set of earbuds may do. I purchased mine at Holosync years ago when I started and still use them.
