they've dug a very deep trench for the footers- on one they had to go down 6 feet to get to dry-ish soil. I suspect that means it's a good thing they didn't did during the drought.
They'll pour the concrete on Friday, and I guess the mason can start to build the supports next week. I think that this will not go particularly fast... I'm hoping less than 90 days, but since the wait until Friday is due to a delay in the inspection from teh city, i'm not overly optimistic about speed....

I've been going to bed earlier this week, not by much though, and it's only resulted in me waking up earlier...but thankfully not proportionally so.
Oh and something new happened last night that's kitteh related! For the first time ever, one of my currently-shedding-like-mad wookie felines - LevLev - decided that it wouldn't be so bad an idea to plop down right next to me in my bed at my waist/thigh. He even exposed his belly as bait to give my hand LuvLuv bites! And a week or so ago, Zuzu decided that it wouldn't be so bad an idea to hang out next to me on the couch!!!
It's gotta be the full moon!
