I'm on my first break already from the garden.......

I'm so upset.......I disturbed a lil bird's nest trying to clean out an old pot, and there were 3 babies in there...they all flew out and now the mama is frantic............

just re-make them a nest, see if they return

Gracie, if they flew, they should all be fine!! Mama will settle when she sees they're okay. Been there, done that. Always feel bad, but how can you know until you're on top of them?

If they flew most likely they were ready to leave, you may have rushed them a little.

Yes, they all flew..one lil one was a bit fly-shy, but s/he made it........
What I did was put the lil pot that had the nest in back in the gigantic pot it was in......
Hope the stress will not do any harm.

Then, as I was starting to work in another area away from the birds, I found an ant hill, and then they found me......I got away with only 2 bites on the hand........

I should have stayed in bed!

I am now, Tibs......but not before I planted a few vine cuttings. Cypress Vine, Glorisa Vine and seeds from Hyacinth Bean Vine.
Oh, I am done!!! So very done!
