G'mornin, snails...

Caught the sunrise leaving for work this morning, then realized I'd forgotten to bring my ERM+ with me to the car while waiting at the stoplight and had to turn around to retrieve it. Nice and sunny commute to start with, then BAM...dense fog. Visibility was maybe 100m or so and that's when the idiot drivers began to show themselves. *sigh*

:p

And THIS is why I want to delete ALL my Facebook links/likes/whatever
that cause these posts to appear in my newsfeed. :(

Anyway... if this kitty is deemed "rehab-able", I'm getting involved. This
just sucked my soul dry. This cat HAS AN OWNER.

FB link... and if you click, be prepared...

Oh, that's horrid. What the hell is WRONG with people?????? What I'm thinking right now would get me banned, so I'll keep my mouth shut. But you all "KNOW" what I'm thinking. Oh, Bear, sorry you have to see these things.

Well, I do not HAVE TO see them. It's MY fault for liking or following
rescue groups, feral-helpers... and then who THEY follow and like
just join the parade. I'm sure there are settings in FB to get this
    stuff trimmed down a bit.

What I am unable to understand (fully)... this cat is obviously being
abused and super-neglected. But NOBODY has the 'nads to just PICK
IT UP, TAKE IT AWAY and try to SAVE IT (if it CAN be saved). They
are all bound to the law that you just canNOT take somebody's "pet".
THAT is NOT a pet at this point. I'll go on record and say if I was
walking along normal-normal-normal and saw this cat (or any other
in a similar state), I would not give a crap about any "law". I'd pick
it up and bring it home... and arrange a vet evaluation ASAP.

But no... everybody commenting in that post (and there are three
different posts about it) are saying "we can not, by law, just TAKE
    the cat".

That's where I'd fail if I ever joined a rescue group. My emotions
would make the rules. Then I'd get kicked out. It's this kind of
stuff that just really makes me very angry.

I'm the same way. Wouldn't be able to "follow their rules".:cry::-x

Another beautiful day. Saw my pulmonologist. He's so sweet. Everything is good, will see me in 6 months. I just gush over him and he loves it!! Hugs me and tells me I'm his best and favorite patient. That's cause I tell him how handsome he is!!!! :p

Good evening and goodnight Snails. Sleep well, pleasant dreams and a better tomorrow for all!!:)

Kat, glad you had a good visit with the pulmonologist.

Guarded good news on sil. She has started to move the right side of her body. Still can't speak, but when asked by her husband 'what's for dinner' she just looked at him and rolled her eyes. He can't cook worth a dime and she is an excellent cook. At least he has a sense of humor and it did get a rise out of her.
