Just a teensy bit rainy and windy as TS Nate makes his way up the state. Mostly rain so far and windspeed is dropping rapidly, so it may or may not still be a tropical storm by the time the center gets near here in a couple of hours.

Food for thought in case you didn't think of it:
You know that shingles seal themselves down with heat, yeah? The hot weather you've had before now should have sealed them down, but these higher winds will be a good test. So check for any missing or funny-looking shingles after the storm goes through. Give it a good visual inspection. Should still be warranted by the roofers.

Relaxing this morning, but need to get the last of the stuff out of kitchen cupboards, so we’re ready for the new ones that will hopefully arrive early in the week.
Here’s an older view of the mudroom that will be the laundry room, showing the tile as in kitchen and bath. White subway tile for the shower walls. interior looking from that is the same as the kitchen and bath. Below that is a view from the kitchen to the new space. The new bath is through the far door. Lots of windows on both sides of the room.isn’t the wood beautiful?

Another Dr. appt. tomorrow. If it weren't for that, I would have NO social life!!!! 10 am with psychologist, which I really wish I could tell you a story about my last visit with her, and, maybe someday, I will. Talk about mortifying!!!!!
And was trying to hurry on my switching meds, and paid for it today. Am going too fast. Felt pretty bad all day. Settled now. That'll teach me. GO SLOW!!

But I have put shingles on before...and saw some damaged by wind too.
It gets under them if they don't stick down well and they flop up and rip/crack.
