Snails - Response on Threads Part 8

Taking a break from continued de-nuding of the gardens and other
Winter yard prep. I'm a bit behind this year due to the relatively
nice weather and just kept putting off yanking up still-blooming
plants. It needs to be done, so... Flowers, meet Mister HeftyBag.



So... this latest ACA thing... Hmmmm. It prompted me to see what
has been submitted and approved for New York's 2018 "Essential Plan".
(NOT the "metal tiers".) I have zero idea how what "he" has signed
may affect the plan I'll be renewing in the next few weeks. But what
I see so far says "business as usual". Then again, "he" JUST signed it.

Stay tuned, I guess.

well, it's still a mobile connection and stuff happens but att did wonders here building out lte i imagine i'm now ahead of some dsl and cable connections. switching to the boy's windows 10 laptop didn't hurt either!

Sheba appears to be healing quite nicely. There is absolutely
a good chunk of fur missing, but the visible skin has gone from
angry red to a nice Fall brown/rust. Plus, she's been not nearly
as skittish and run-away scared as in the past.

Oreo's nasty wound from earlier in the year is still fairly visible.
I don't know if he will ever return to fully-furred in that area.

About 3 or 4 days of amoxicillin solution remains. I'll finish it and
hope for the best. (I used 3 500mg "human" capsules over the
last few weeks, and now have a big bottle of fish mox for any
future nastiness.)

Hibiscus cut down, "summer phlox" de-potted. Kitty figurines
dans le garage. Made up 42 Halloween candy bags. Took car
to the car wash... washed, interior vacuumed, and windows
cleaned.

And to top it off, my NEW left hearing aid has not worked right for awhile, but have been unable to get to hearing place, so I've been using my old one, which I like better and it just went out on me today!!! BUMMER!! Someone tell me to shut up and get a new attitude or something. I HATE feeling like this. I really do.....

Tis a good thing I'm not superstitious, or that would have hurt my brain! Right now, our family needs all the good vibes we can muster, or prayers if so inclined, for test results for hubby! It just so happens that Friday the 13th is a very lucky day for our youngest daughter,(she believes it) so maybe, just maybe it will rub off on P! I pray so!

My DDs were born on the 13th--both of them. My lucky number.

Those fires in Cali are really sad and devastating. I read about a couple that had been married for 75 years that died together in the fire.

Yeah, entire neighborhoods (and some people) turned to ash. Tragic.
Too dry there.

Indeed. Horrific. Our fires here in SoCal are nothing compared to what's going on in Napa, but I did get my first phone alert about mandatory evacuations. Scared the daylights out of me, but it wasn't for my area--thank God.
