Pruned down two of the 3 spirea. While doing the 3rd, I angered a bunch
of yellowjackets and got stung twice. So, all those cuttings have been left
in a pile... I'll wait for a VERY frosty day to clean that one up. It's only 54
degrees... they should be pretty darn logy at this point.
I'll tell you what... those little suckers have been a REAL nuisance this past
Summer. And this year, the larger "common wasps" (look like LARGE
yellowjackets) have shown up and have been VERY active the last month or
so. I do not recall THOSE much at all around here.
One more observation...
Considering how much rain the area had during the Summer months,
the mosquitoes were extremely tolerable... not anything near being
real pests. (And, I do NOT have the lawn service do any pesticide
treatments... although I believe they do put down some grub control
*IF* they determine any problem areas.)
And yes :: coughcoughhackattypopshackhackcoughcough :: i have seen
the "gritchy moany gripey" thread elsewhere.

I got one of those last night,i've only run into 502s so far
that went to a cloudfare page copy that asked me to log on..so
I refreshed and was back on the page already logged on again.
I did not know there was a movie by that name!

Rainy day, but made it to skin doctor. All is well, there, thankfully, and I like my new glasses. That was all I was able to accomplish today, but it was something
