Did you do it yet? Wondering about any glitches. I sure hate the FF I'm using now. Freezes a lot and is slow.

They re-wrote the engine. It's DOUBLE the speed of the one from 6 months ago. It also uses less memory.
Freezes may be from ad-ins.

But since this is a new re-write, I'd try it since it also does a new install, so it may "fix" stuff. As far as "glitches" go...who knows? But it's working so far for me. That's not proof that it will work for you.

And it's faster than Chrome.

OK... say somebody has actual high-speed internet. You know, something MORE
than, say, 3mb/sec. Are THEY going to actually NOTICE the difference???

Yeah, I sure do.
And you might even see some visual/detectable difference...because once it loads page-stuff, it has to "compute" it all...that's the part that's 2x faster. And it uses less memory. And there's security fixes.

I'm using Chrome also, but FF is still in my Toolbar. Doesn't show any updates available. It's at 56 right now!

That's just vape residue...they have cleaners for that....

I don't know either, Atty! I haven't been using FF but when I open it and go to 'about Firefox' it is telling me I have 56 (32 bit) which I find strange, and it says to re-start FF to update.....well, I did, and nadda! Still telling me I have 56.....so, maybe it is a controlled release?!?

When I was out raking the back yard, I noticed the weeping cherry did NOT
go all gold/orange/deep-crimson this fall. The leaves look dark green and
black and are just drooping. This is the second year it did not bloom in
Spring, but it looked fine all Summer. Hope it's "just the weather".

I will stack another chair, upside-down, arm-on-arm, to provide a space for the Winter
(for when they do not use the little hut. I'll put another blanket in there, slip on a cover,
then wrap a moving blanket around 3 sides.

I got the "theme" changed to "Light" and the screen is much better...got rid of that ugly dark border.
I hate the box tabs...not rounded.
