Little wind today meant that it didn't feel quite as cold out and everything was more clear than expected. Dirty snow looks so depressing, tho. I bought another lottery ticket to make up for it One can hope, right?

Just took my mom shopping for boots. They have zippers on the side...

The first set she looked at were "prettier" but the one she ended up with is more functional (and the others weren't stocked in her size. Post Christmas and all. )

Yes...I would have purchased shorter boots for laced boots. No one has time to lace calf high boots, LOL.

I love my 8" slip on boots and they're warm. I have a really nice pair of taller boots but they have laces.They're in a box upstairs.
