Hiya, Snails!

Good news? How about some good news from SoCal, for a change?

....

"When officers arrived on the scene, the animals failed to comply!"

    And written PET scan findings
    Impression
    1. 4.0 cm, tracer avid hilar liver mass consistent with a cholangiocarcinoma
(Klatskin tumor). This reflects a solitary lesion without scintigraphic evidence
for metastatic disease. CT-guided biopsy is recommended for definitive
diagnosis. GI consultation is also advised.
    2. Benign left low pelvic tracer focus corresponding to a densely calcified
periprostatic nodule. This likely reflects an inflamed phlebolith or calcified
lymph node. Clinical significance is doubtful.
    3. Mild right hamstring muscle strain.

    FINDINGS:

There is intense radiotracer uptake corresponding to a 4 cm hilar liver mass
extending through segments 1 and 4A. This was well demonstrated by CT on
1/18/2018 and is associated with at least partial biliary tree obstruction. This
reflects a solitary abnormality without additional liver lesions chest findings,
or nodal disease. There is focally intense tracer uptake corresponding to a
calcified nodule to the left of the prostate. This may reflect an inflamed
calcified lymph node or phlebolith. There is mildly increased tracer uptake
along the right hamstring musculature, proximally. This typically relates to a
muscle strain. Radiotracer uptake and distribution is otherwise unremarkable.
