Why are mousies coming into the house in the summer? Remember the saga of Marsha and the insulating foam, which practically took over the house several years ago? Well, she filled in every nook and cranny. Last night she was sitting there and watched a mouse run across family room and into the kitchen. She, of course, freaked, but managed to find the humane traps (mind you, I was sleeping), and even caught one and released it outside somewhere. I thought they usually came in winter for warmth? I remember Tibs, not too long ago, saying something about a mouse and it had me wondering then. Climate Change at work? Lol...
They usually come in for the winter. Not exclusively for the Winter-only.
Dang things chew holes too, so look around. Might have come in the front door, though. Who knows?

Well, they were gone for over 18 years, I think! Marsha is getting more foam insulation...God help us all!!!there's always at least one nook or cranny that escapes detection

Sometimes mice will come in hunting water in dry weather but that’s certainly not your problem
