OMG! this is from 2 years ago!
Yeah, it was when Bear "accidentally" (as encouraged by Microsoft) converted his system to a 20 char long (random) password on "the cloud" and then got locked out of his own system!!! (the thing was in an excel spreadsheet on the computer that he couldn't get into.)

I am SO SCREWED.

Using the tablet.

I unwittingly set a Win10 logon password (THOUGHT) I was creating
one for MS games only. I have the PW in an Excel file. It's well over
20 characters (random)... and I now need it to even log in to my PC!

I tried the MS password reset form, but it asks questions for which
there is no answer on this tablet... email "sent" addresses and
subject lines. No email have ever been sent from here.

Their tech support can provide ZERO help with passwords for security
purposes.

So, will need to scour web for possible hacks.

Won't be here much until I can use my PC.

IDK if anything worked or not, I'm probably not going to go back and follow it.

Reminds me of when my neighbor got her keys locked inside her car. Just like password backup locked up inside the locked computer! ;)

With the MS cloud account, you can reset them on the web, I guess. With the local account....google "how to recover from lost password windows 10".

Dr says the cancer is coming back but it never went went away so IDK.Still not in bad shape and will be more chemo next month sometime.
:( but the tumor had shrunk so much? why is surgery not an option? bil is in sad shape and it'll take a long time to recuperate but he feels it was worth it

I'm pretty sure surgery is not an option because of the location in bile ducts. There may be other chemo or immunotherapy drugs they can try. Surgery was never an option.

@FranC , will continue with good wishes and thoughts. There are probably several more therapies they can try to control the growth. There are also targeted drugs if they can find a genetic mutation in his cancer. At least, that's what I hope. I know his cancer is in a tough spot to treat. My love to you both ..

Good evening and goodnight Snails. Sleep well, sweet dreams and a better tomorrow for all :)

Bummer, hope you weren’t too hot
Nah, not too bad. Opened windows (not to rub it in, but it's 75ish here today). Sun is beating in windows though, and the oven was on for dinner so it was dumping heat. But open windows worked.

Then the power (and AC) came back.

    No biggie at all. :)
Didn't even have to get out the generator.

The biggest problem is that I still haven't replaced the UPS that fried (and powers the phone when the power is out). Still have a cell phone for emergencies though. No data, but cell service (cheap that way too!)

I'm here, tib:) Surgery is not an option but this so far isn't as bad as it sounds. The dr.said the cancer growth would have been easy to miss if he didn't know what to look for. Also the dr sees no reason to rush him into more chemo at least for another month.

    Night,Kat:)

I only had one really bad day of it, hopefully you’ll be the same :)

me too, frannie! ;) let's hope hubs builds up his strength during that one month reprieve and the next round of chemo will shrivel that stuff up for good!
Not likely to happen but it's a good thought.:)
