Well, it's basal cell (micronodular), which is a more aggressive type, but still basal, which is the most curable. Surgery next Friday. They feel confident I will do well. Having a MOHS surgery, where they remove thin layers of tissue until cancer is gone. A little tricky since it's right on my left temple. Oh well, it sure could have been worse. Just wish it was benign.

An early good evening and goodnight. Not sure I'll be back on. Sleep well, sweet dreams and a better tomorrow for all :)

Sounds like you caught this early too Kat. I'm very optimistic!
My GF had that procedure (I think, sounds right) and they got it before it metastasized and was all removed. Glad you're being diligent! Good work.

Net says that "BCCs are slow-growing and rarely metastasize." and also "The 5-year recurrence rate of BCC following Mohs surgery has been reported to be as low as 1% in some studies."

This sounds A LOT like what I had. The surgery was easy to go through, the worry was what got me wound up. There was no need for it tho.

Mine was between left eye and into sideburn area. once the surgery was over I had a kinda face lift out of it.

Hope this helps you Kat get over at least a bit of the worries.
